F1: ‘Bunch of idiots,’ Max Verstappen FUMES on team radio after being impeded during Singapore GP Qualifying

Max Verstappen ‘s streak of woeful performances mid-way through the 2024 season has continued over the race weekends. The Singapore GP witnessed yet another phase of difficulty for the Dutchman during the practice sessions. However, the 26-year-old is hopeful of a great start for the main race despite being impeded on track during Q1.

Max Verstappen had already faced issues with FIA at the Singapore weekend after dropping the F-bomb amidst FIA’s ban on swear words. Hence, the reigning world champion was subjected to community service as a penalty. Additionally, the Dutchman was spotted voicing his disappointment on being impeded at the Marina Bay circuit.

Verstappen claimed that being impeded on the circuit was completely ‘unbelievable’ to him. Subsequently, the 26-year-old labeled the rivals as a ‘bunch of idiots’ who caused traffic on track. As a result, it is safe to assume that the frustration has finally caught up to the three-time world champion amidst the struggles.

Unbelievable, bunch of idiots man, in the way everywhere! Max Verstappen said on the team radio

Red Bull’s pace in the latter half of the 2024 season has been extremely tough and disappointing. Max Verstappen noted that if Milton Keynes were not to change anything in the car, the remaining season would be bad. Additionally, the Dutchman claimed that the team had a lot of work to do.

If we don’t change anything on the car, it is all going to be bad from now on to the end of the season. We have a lot of work to do. We are pushing hard now. Max Verstappen told Sky Sports

Verstappen has continued to attempt his best to score impressive results despite the problems. The remaining seven races are extremely crucial for him to defend his championship.

The drivers’ title is on the table as Lando Norris continues to close the gap to the Dutchman in the standings.
